The process and what to expect

The process is safe and effective, performed by a trained practitioner who prioritises your comfort and aims for gradual, controlled fading.

The number of sessions required varies depending on factors like ink depth, colour, and skin type.

Brow Micropigmentation – many clients see a huge amount of lightening after just one session, with many requiring just one session to reach the desired outcome. Others may need 3-4 sessions for full removal. The sensation is often compared to a rubber band lightly snapping against the skin.

I recommend spacing sessions 6 weeks apart to allow your skin to heal and your body to continue clearing the ink. If you would like your eyebrows re-tattooed, I advise waiting 12 weeks after the last session to ensure all pigment removal has stabilised.

A common question is whether laser tattoo removal affects eyebrow hair. You may notice temporary frosting on the hairs, but this resolves quickly, and your natural hair colour returns, with no damage to the follicle. In fact, it can sometimes stimulate more hair growth due to the micro-trauma to the skin during treatment. For those clients who usually tint their brow hairs, they can be tinted/waxed 2 weeks post laser.

Duration: Sessions are quick, typically lasting between 10 to 20 minutes.

Downtime: Very minimal. Patients may experience mild redness or slight swelling for a few hours to a couple of days, but can usually return to daily activities immediately.

Avoid blood-thinning medications and alcohol for 24 hours prior to treatment.
