Before your treatment

To ensure the best results, sun exposure or tanning beds must be avoided prior to treatment. Your skin should be as close to its natural colour as possible. For hair removal, the area you wish to be treated should be clean shaved 1-2 days before treatment.

After your treatment

It is crucial to avoid direct sun exposure for at least seven days after your treatment. This helps protect your skin and ensures optimal healing and results. Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming and steam rooms for 48hrs following treatment. Exercise that causes sweating should be postponed for 48 hours. Sweat contains salt and bacteria that can irritate healing skin. Choose loose-fitting garments made from soft, breathable fabrics.

What to expect 

Immediately after SHR laser hair reduction, treated hairs remain in the follicle and do not fall out instantly. The skin may show minor redness or feel warm, which typically settles within 48 hours. The hair is technically dead, but it takes 1–3 weeks for the body to shed.
